  • The Liberty Course was born out of lived experience.

    After more than a decade of struggling with pornography and masturbation, our Founder recognised the need for safe spaces where these challenges could be addressed more openly, with both honesty and practical support.

    Today, The Liberty Course exists to help women take their first steps towards freedom, knowing they do not have to face this journey alone.

    Our mission is simple: to create safe spaces where hidden struggles can be brought into the light, and where people can begin a journey towards lasting freedom, healing, and restored identity.

    Beyond individual recovery, The Liberty Course is committed to the broader fight against sexual exploitation. We recognise that the pornography industry is deeply intertwined with human trafficking and the commodification of people. By helping women break the cycle of consumption and find healing, we are directly challenging the demand that fuels these exploitative systems.

  • The Liberty Course is rooted in a Christian perspective, combining practical tools, honest reflection, and supportive community.

    Our approach is anchored in the promise that “so if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36), believing that true transformation is possible for everyone.

    We focus on helping women:

    • Understand the patterns and root causes behind their behaviour

    • Recognise triggers and emotional drivers

    • Develop healthier responses and habits

    • Move from shame towards grace, accountability, and growth

    While the course is grounded in biblical principles, you do not need to identify as a Christian to take part. It is open to anyone willing to engage with the content and explore a new way forward.

    Tamuno-Tonyé

    FOUNDER & LEAD FACILITATOR

    Tonyé launched The Liberty Course in 2025, drawing on extensive experience from five years in the VAWG sector and her role as a Trustee for You My Sister. She is dedicated to creating the safe, confidential spaces necessary for women to navigate paths to lasting freedom.

    Hannah Claire Adolfo

    TRUSTEE

    Hannah is a Senior Educational Leader and Researcher specialising in curriculum and personal development. Her work focuses on building the stable, nurturing spaces required for people to explore growth and reclaim their sense of agency in a restorative setting.

    Abigail Falola

    TRUSTEE

    Abigail serves as a Senior O&G Resident and Chair of the charity Route to Freedom. She combines clinical expertise with a heart for advocacy, ensuring the Liberty framework remains a holistically safe space for individuals to find autonomy and peace.
